Understanding Muslims and Islam - Educational Program

SATURDAY SESSIONS:

Qur’an Studies 11:00 - 12:00 pm
Instructor: Imam Rushdan Mujahid-Deen

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This class will focus on the study of the Qur’an particularly on the language of Imam W. Deen Mohammed. This class will cover short surahs of the Qur’an and examine each surah in depth in the areas of terminology, grammar, and commentary. Students will study accompanying lectures of Imam W. Deen Mohammed and other scholars that cover those particular surahs.

STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES: Upon completion of the course, a successful student should be able to:
1. Continue the study of the Qur’an and the language of Imam W. Deen Mohammed independently.
2. Develop the foundational tools that will equip them to contribute to the progress of Muslim community life in America.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Learn the steps and proper etiquette of Prayer.

Background: Sheikh Omeira  graduated from the Anssar Institute in Damascus, Syria established by the Grand Mufti of Syria Sheikh Ahmad Kuftaro.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Teaching the Quran and the subtle way of partnering with students to understand the purpose and application of what we read and looking up the meaning of the words.

STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES: 
The objective of the class is to able the student to connect the verse of the Quran in different surah to understand the subject Matters.
